The Apple iPad 7 (2019) LTE A2198 is an iOS tablet from the renowned Apple iPad series with an impressive 10.2 inch Retina display that offers a resolution of 2160 x 1620 pixels and a pixel density of 264 ppi. The capacitive multi-touch display has a 4:3 image format and a maximum brightness of 500 cd/m². The iPad 7 is powered by a powerful Apple A10 Fusion processor and runs on the latest iPadOS operating system.
The tablet is equipped with an 8 megapixel main camera on the back and a 1.2 megapixel front camera. The rear camera offers autofocus, burst mode, face detection, geotagging, HDR, panorama function, back exposure (BSI) and image stabilization. The front camera has a burst mode, HDR, face detection and back exposure (BSI). The iPad 7 also has a stereo speaker system with two speakers.
The tablet's housing is made of aluminum and has an anti-fingerprint coating. It is equipped with sensors such as accelerometer, gyroscope, brightness sensor, fingerprint sensor, e-compass and barometer. The tablet has physical buttons such as the home button, power button and volume control as well as a virtual keyboard as an input method.
The iPad 7 offers WLAN connectivity according to the IEEE 802.11a, IEEE 802.11b, IEEE 802.11g, IEEE 802.11n and IEEE 802.11ac standards at frequencies of 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz. It also supports Bluetooth 4.2. The tablet has a Lightning connector, a Smart Connector and a headphone output.
The iPad 7 has a battery life of up to 9 hours and supports the Apple Pencil (1st generation). It features an M10 Motion co-processor, iBeacon technology and Touch ID for built-in security. It comes with pre-installed apps like Siri, FaceTime, Apple App Store, iTunes, Photo Booth, Safari, and Apple TV. Launched in 2019, the iPad 7 is an ideal tablet for everyday use and entertainment.
