Conditions of participation competition

The organizer of the competition is Janado GmbH, Hansaallee 321 Geb. 37, 40549 Düsseldorf.

Persons aged 16 and over are allowed to participate.

Participation period: The competition runs from December 22, 2024, 10:00 a.m. (CET) to December 29, 2024, 11:59 p.m. (CET). After this date, participation is no longer possible.

The winners will be randomly chosen immediately after the competition ends and will be contacted by @janado.de via Instagram direct message no later than Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. (CET).

The voucher and the giveaways will be sent by post as one package after confirmation of the win.

Cash payment of the voucher, exchange of the giveaways or transfer to third parties are excluded. Returns with the voucher can only be refunded as a new voucher, not in cash.

In the event of unforeseen circumstances (e.g. technical problems or other reasons) we reserve the right to cancel or adapt the competition at any time.

processing of personal data
When you participate in our competition, we only collect your personal data (Instagram username and contact details) to the extent you provide them. The data processing serves the purpose of properly conducting the competition and to notify you in the event of a win.

This data processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Letter a of GDPR with your consent. You can revoke your consent at any time by sending us a message, without affecting the legality of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the revocation. Your data will then be deleted.

The data will not be passed on to third parties.

In the event of a win, your participation in the competition by submitting your contact information via Instagram will be considered as consent to the processing of your personal data for the purpose of processing the competition. This processing only includes determining and notifying the winner via Instagram direct message and is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 Paragraph 1 Letter a of GDPR with your consent. You can revoke this consent at any time by sending us a message. After revocation, your data in connection with the competition will be deleted.

storage period
We store your personal data as long as it is necessary to make a decision about the competition. Your data will then be deleted after three months at the latest, unless you have consented to further processing and use and/or we no longer have a legitimate interest in storing it.

rights of those affected
If the legal requirements are met, you have the following rights under Art. 15 to 20 GDPR: Right to information, to rectification, to erasure, to restriction of processing, to data portability. In addition, under Art. 21 Para. 1 GDPR, you have the right to object to processing based on Art. 6 Para. 1 f GDPR and to processing for direct marketing purposes.

right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority
According to Art. 77 GDPR, you have the right to complain to the supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data is not lawful.

right of objection
The personal data processing listed here is based on our legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit.f GDPR, you have the right to object to this processing at any time with effect for the future for reasons arising from your particular situation. After objection has been made, the processing of the data concerned will be stopped unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or if the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

Legal recourse: Legal recourse is excluded.
